Canadian Connection - 5 - Niagara Falls
The delightful Care mistakenly spent her anniversary in the wrong part of Canada; but she at least was nice enough to think of me and send me a card! I love Niagara Falls so I suppose I can understand why someone would want to take an anniversary trip there. Isn't it gorgeous? When I graduated from university I treated myself to a trip to Niagara Falls and Toronto. I can't wait to visit again someday!

Canadian Connection - 3 - Toronto
I love getting postcards from Canada. I always buy a bunch when I go anywhere and have postcards from all over the place from friends and family. (The guy even got his friend to send me some from the Northwest Territories!) This postcard came from Amy who lives in the big city of Toronto. I really enjoy the view and look forward to visiting again soon!

Olden Days - 3 - Yarmouth
Isn't this cool? This, ladies and gents, is my home town. I have a couple other older postcards from Yarmouth, but I haven't scanned them yet. This is not one I actually own, but someone shared it on my mother's Facebook and she emailed it to me saying I was free to share it! For those that have no idea where Yarmouth is, which is likely most of you, this is Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Canadian Connection - 2 - Postcard from Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Park
I love lighthouses. This postcard is from Nat when she visited the West coast where she is from. This the Fisgard Lighthouse at Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Park. It is also a historical park and I always make sure to visit them when I visit a new place. I hope to visit this one at some point! Here is the stamp that was included:

8 - Postcards of Sailing Ships
Every year there is a big festival of sailing ships here. It is called the Tall Ship Festival. Some years the local newspaper includes some of the ships as postcards in their paper. These are some of the ones that have been offered over the years. I am sure there are more, but I don't actually get the newspaper anymore. Still, I enjoy the ones I have because I love sailing ships and all the history that surrounds them.
They are all unused.

Canadian Connection - 1 - Postcard from Victoria
I live in Canada so I can't help showcasing postcards from my province.
The above postcard came from the wonderful Memory. It is of the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC. This particular garden is known as The Sunken Garden and is one of 6 different gardens covering 50 acres. It looks like a beautiful place! This is the stamp she included:
